Jauhar Degree College was established in august, 1998.The institute was named to pay tribute to one of our freedom fighters, Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar. Professor Mohammad Rais Ahmad, a devoted mathematics teacher, a man of commitment and God gifted will power, after retirement from the education department of Sindh Government initiated the establishment of the college with very limited resources and with the help of some very experienced teachers.
